"Predicting High-Priority Job Contention Risk in Heterogeneous GPU Clusters Using Scheduling-Observable Features"
- Engineered a binary contention-risk label from unlabeled Alibaba production trace data by computing temporal job overlaps
- Constructed 8 scheduling-observable features from live cluster state and job submission metadata, producing a final dataset of 415,713 labeled HP job instances deployable in real scheduler environments
- Applied statistical analysis to identify and cap extreme outliers, validating threshold choices through sensitivity analysis
